I've known Bill Gabbert for years, and he has represented us for the sale of five properties and the purchase of two properties. Each time he is the consummate professional. He is knowledgeable and accessible. He understands the process of buying and selling real estate and is able to explain the nuances so his clients can make an informed decision.

Bill Gabbert was extremely approachable and cordial. He was also quite persistent with the buyers' realtor, staying on top of things and generally giving the realtor appropriate nudges. And he definitely always promptly kept us in the loop, even when the news was not good.

His close working relation with the officer at the title company made the escrow process quite quick and painless.

This purchase involved 3 of us, my husband and I and our son, so I'm sure it was a little trickier for Bill to navigate. We felt Bill was on top of everything at all times through our whole search and the purchase of the property. He kept us updated, and responded to all inquiries almost immediately. Like other agents Bill knew the market, probable posting price, the home-readiness-for-sale needs and made a "to-do" list. with a ready list of pre-approved contractors for haul-away, landscape clean-up, repairs and final touch-up prior to presentation.

He is a deeply compassionate man who cares about people having homes. He wants everyone to have a home and he lives these values. This is why I chose him. He puts people first. Later after I had some interaction with him I realized how easy going and approachable he was and I quickly grew comfortable asking him any kind of question about property and the search for the perfect home. He was always available by phone even late in the evening.

Bill was very concerned about me using a friend and neighbor as a selling agent for my home in American Canyon. He did not want me to be getting into a complicated or risky arrangement. He looked up the credentials of this man to make sure of his background. He was protective of me as a consumer giving me appropriate counseling regarding this situation. This was above and beyond the call of duty in his role as my realtor and I deeply appreciate that he did this for me unasked for, on his own.

He took away as much stress as humanly possible from the process of negotiation. He explained everything about the inspections and answered all my questions related to them. He didn't miss any details that I know of. Everything went smoothly with the closing process that I know of. He understood my taste in houses both affinities and aversions of our local properties.
